Great stone grave in Wernstedt

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Wernstedt was a possible megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic deep engraving ceramic culture near Wernstedt , a district of Kalbe (Milde) in the Altmark district of Salzwedel , Saxony-Anhalt . It was probably destroyed in the 19th century at the latest. A description of the facility is not available, its possible existence is only proven by the designation "the chicken bush" on a historical measuring table. The parcel "Hühnerbusch" is located 2 kilometers southwest of Wernstedt in a forest area.
