Gromada Łagisza

Gromada Łagisza was an administrative unit in the People's Republic of Poland between 1954 and 1968. The Gromada was administered by the Gromadzka Rada Narodowa whose seat was in Łagisza (now a district of Będzin ) and consisted of 27 members. The Gromada Łagisza belonged to the powiat Będziński in the Katowice Voivodeship ( then Stalinogród ), it was formed from the previous Gromada Łagisza and kolonia Jazowe of the dissolved Gmina Łagisza . On January 29, 1956, the colony Gródków-Pustkowie was spun off from the Gormada Psary and incorporated into the Gromada Łagisza. The same thing happened with the hamlet of Stachowe on December 31, 1961. When Łagisza was granted town charter on January 1, 1969, the Gromada was dissolved.
