The Río Gromejón is an approx. 35 km long tributary of the Duero in the south of the province of Burgos in northern Spain .

course

The Río Gromejón rises from several source streams about 15 km northeast of the town of Caleruega south of the Sierra de la Demanda at an altitude of about 960  m . Its course leads constantly in southwestern directions almost parallel to the Río Bañuelos . It flows into the Duero about 4 km southwest of the village of Ventosilla .

Tributaries and reservoirs

Apart from a few streams (arroyos) , the Río Gromejón has no tributaries; it is not jammed. In the Middle Ages and early modern times there were numerous water mills on its banks .
