Maria Grosdeva
Marija Grosdewa ( Bulgarian Мария Гроздева , English transcription Mariya Grozdeva ; born June 23, 1972 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian sports shooter and two-time Olympic champion .
She won her first Olympic medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona when she finished third with an air pistol over 10 meters. She was able to repeat this success four years later at the Games in Atlanta .
In 1995 and 1997 with the team and in 1997, 1999 and 2003 in the individual, she was European champion with the sport pistol .
At the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000, she was also the first Olympic champion with the sport pistol over 25 meters.
Finally, she won her second gold medal at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 with the sport pistol at the 25-meter distance with 688.2 points. She won the bronze medal with an air pistol over 10 meters.
