Li Duihong ( Chinese 李 对 红 ; born January 25, 1970 in Daqing ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .
successes
Li Duihong participated in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and 1996 in Atlanta . In 1992 she only competed with the sport pistol and scored 586 points in qualification, with which she reached the finals in second place behind Marina Logwinenko . In this she managed only the fifth best result among the eight starters with 94 points, but she was able to maintain second place behind Logwinenko. Munkhbayar Dorjsuren , who won bronze behind Li, while the latter received the silver medal, scored just one point less . Four years later she took part both with the sport pistol and in competition with the air pistol . With the latter, she did not get beyond 15th place with 379 points and thus missed the final. With the sport pistol, she set a new Olympic record for the qualifying round with 589 points, and she advanced to the final with a three-point lead. There she achieved only the sixth best result with 98.9 points, but since the competitors placed directly behind her in the qualification did not take advantage of their chances, Li remained in the top position and was Olympic champion ahead of Diana Jorgowa and Marina Logwinenko .
At world championships in 1990 in Moscow and in 1994 in Milan she won the bronze medal in the individual competition with the combination pistol, and in 1990 she also won bronze with the team. In 1994 she became world champion both in the team competition with the combination pistol and with the air pistol. With the combination pistol, she and the team repeated this success again in Lahti in 2002 and in Zagreb in 2006 . Li also had numerous successes on the continents: in 1991 she became the Asian champion with the air pistol in Beijing . At the Asian Games in Beijing in 1990 she won the silver medal in the individual and the gold medal in the team competition with the air pistol. With the sport pistol, she secured the title in both competitions. In 1994 she won the gold medal again in the team competitions in Hiroshima with the air pistol and the sports pistol, while she took third place in the individual with the sports pistol. In 1998 in Bangkok and 2002 in Busan further gold medal wins followed in the team competition with the sport pistol.
Li Duihong's twin sister Li Shuanghong was also active as a marksman and finished ninth at the 1992 Olympic Games with an air pistol. Li is married.
