The Ilyushin Il-108 ( Russian Ильюшин Ил-108 ) is a Russian project for a twin-engine business jet made by the Russian manufacturer Ilyushin .

history

The Ilyushin design office was working on a business jet aircraft called the Il-108 in the early 1990s . A first model was presented in 1990.

The design envisages either a nine- or 15-seat version. The machine is a twin - engine, low -wing aircraft with a T-tail . The two Lotarjow DW-2 engines each deliver 22 kN of thrust and are mounted above the center of the fuselage at the stern . A second version is to be equipped with 35.2 kN high-bypass DW-22 engines.
