The Groznaya Bay ( English ; Russian Бухта Грозная Buchta Grosnaja , German 'Terrible Bay' ) is a bay on the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It is located 3.7 km east of the Molodjoschnaja station .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions as well as a Soviet Antarctic expedition . Scientists on the latter research trip named it. The further naming background has not been passed down. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this designation into a transcribed partial translation into English.
