Steven Scott (born January 10, 1985 in London ) is a British marksman specializing in trap and double trap .

successes

Steven Scott took part in two Olympic Games in double trap. In 2008 he finished 13th in Beijing with 134 points. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he moved into the semi-finals with 138 points as fourth in the preliminary round, in which he scored 26 goals. In the jump-off he prevailed together with Tim Kneale against James Willett , so that he and Kneale moved into the duel for the bronze medal. With 30 hits, Scott scored two more than Kneale and thus received the bronze medal.

At world championships , Scott won the double trap in Nicosia in 2007 , in Maribor in 2009 and in Munich in 2010 in the team competition, and in 2014 in Granada in the individual bronze. Scott won a gold medal each at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 in Delhi in the pairs competition in double trap and in 2014 in Glasgow in double trap singles.
