In 1865 the decision was made to start civil engineering , but the first cable car journey took place in 1869. Two years later the shaft was equipped with conveying and water-holding machines. As with other mines in the region, Krupp became the new owner.

In 1876 the second shaft was built, which later had a depth of 238 m. In 1885 it reached a depth of 102 m, levels were created at 31, 63 and 102 m. The shaft was equipped with a twin hoisting machine with 17 HP and a water holding machine with 37 HP. The production of the mine in 1884 amounted to 6,397 tons of Spateisenstein and 82.5 tons of copper ore . Production was stopped on July 21, 1894, and operations were completely shut down in 1906. The corridor of the Eisenhardt mine had an average thickness of 2 m, in places up to 4 m.
