The Obstihs pit is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the Asselborn district . The first assumption was made in the name of Marienberg on December 8, 1862. This was followed by another assumption on June 1, 1865 in the name of Catharina. On September 12, 1865, the award document was issued to Eisenstein with the name Hindihs. At the intersection of the streets of Bech , Büchelterhof and von Breitenweg , the mine was found between meadows in a narrow sieve . You can no longer see traces of mining.
