Grzegorz Michał Wojciechowski (born August 25, 1960 in Rawa Mazowiecka ) is a Polish politician ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ). He was a senator in the 7th and 8th electoral terms (2007-2015), a member of the Sejm in the 8th electoral term (2015-2018) and has been Vice Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship since November 2018 .

From 1976 to 1998 Grzegorz Wojciechowski ran a farm in Regnów . During this time he studied at the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences and graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture there in 1986. Between 1998 and 2002 he worked as a teacher at the secondary school ( Szkoła ponadgimnazjalna ) in Głuchów and attended postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technical University of Łódź , which he graduated in 2001. He then headed the regional branch of the Agricultural Restructuring and Modernization Agency ( Agencja Reststrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa, ARiMR ) in Rawa Mazowiecka until 2007 .

Wojciechowski began his political career as a member and chairman of the municipal council in Regnów from 1998 to 2006 for the Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe , but in 2006 switched to the Stronnictwo "Piast" . In 2006 he took part in the self-government elections in Poland and successfully ran for Prawo i Sprawiedliwość for a seat in the Sejmik of the Łódź Voivodeship . The next year he took part in the parliamentary elections , and was able to win a mandate for the VII Senate of the Republic of Poland in constituency No. 10 . He received 81,692 (27.90%) of the valid votes cast and was able to win both mandates in the constituency for Prawo i Sprawiedliwość together with his party colleague Wiesław Dobkowski (76,708 votes, 26.20%). During the term he was a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and the Committee on European Union Affairs.

In 2011 , he ran again for a seat in the Senate of the Republic of Poland, but this time after the change from multi-person constituencies to single-person constituencies in the newly established constituency No. 29 . There he prevailed against three opposing candidates with 47,926 of the valid votes cast (38.85%). During the eighth electoral term he was a member of the same committees as in the previous electoral term and, from November 26, 2013, took up the position of deputy chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs.

In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2015 , he did not run for the Senate again, but applied for a mandate for the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in constituency No. 10 . In the constituency, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość won five out of nine seats and Wojciechowski moved into the 8th Sejm of the Republic of Poland with the second most votes on the list . In the self-government elections in Poland in 2018 , he successfully ran again for a mandate in the Sejmik of the Łódź Voivodeship and resigned his Sejm mandate on October 26, 2018. In November of the same year he was appointed Vice Marshal.

Grzegorz Wojciechowski is married and has one child. His brother is the lawyer and politician Janusz Wojciechowski .
