The Guadiana Menor is a river in the province of Granada in Andalusia , Spain .
It arises at the confluence of the Rio Guardal and Rio Guadalentin in the Embalse del Negratín . With 7251 km² it has the second largest catchment area, after the Río Genil , a tributary of the Guardalquivir.
