Guardrail Ridge (freely translated guardrail ridge ) is a 3 km long and up to 2200 m high mountain ridge on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises two miles west-southwest of The Tooth formation in the Kyle Hills .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names gave it the descriptive name in 2000 based on its location on the southern edge of Lofty Promenade .
