The Sherve Peak is a 2,200 m high mountain peaks on the Antarctic Ross Island . It towers over the western portion of Guardrail Ridge in the Kyle Hills .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 after John Sherve, who was the manager of Antarctic Support Associates (ASA) from Denver on behalf of the National Science Foundation and worked several times at McMurdo Station between 1988 and 1998 .
