Gubbängen is an above-ground station of the Stockholm subway in the Gubbängen district of the same name . The station, which is not very frequented, is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . About 5,000 commuters get on here on a normal working day.
The breakpoint between the Hökarängen and Tallkrogen stations was put into operation on October 1, 1950, when the first section of the Tunnelbana between Slussen -Hökarängen was inaugurated. It is around 7.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
