Gudrun Mebs
Gudrun Mebs (born January 8, 1944 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a German actress and writer .
Life
Gudrun Mebs was born in Bad Mergentheim in 1944 and grew up in Frankfurt am Main . At the age of 17 she began training as an actress; then she traveled around the world with a theater group. Between 1965 and 1974 she took part in a number of television film productions.
She has been writing for children since 1980. Her radio plays and books have received numerous awards, including a. the German Youth Book Award in 1984, the Austrian Children's Book Award and the Swiss Children's Book Award La vache qui lit . She lives alternately in Munich and Italy.
