John of Portugal
John of Portugal (Port. João, Infante de Portugal ; born January 13, 1400 in Santarém ; † October 18, 1442 in Alcácer do Sal ) was a Duke of Aveiro from the house of Avis .
He was a younger son of John I of Portugal and his wife Philippa of Lancaster . In 1424 he married Isabella von Braganza , the daughter of his half-brother Alfons .
