Guerreros de Tabasco is a former football club from Villahermosa , the capital of the Mexican state of Tabasco .

The Guerreros ( Spanish term for warriors ) were a franchise that was created in the summer of 2006 through the acquisition of the second division license of the Delfines de Coatzacoalcos and was represented for a half season in the second-rate Primera División 'A' .

The team started the season with four wins and one draw and lost for the first time on matchday six (0-1 at Pumas Morelos ). From this point on, however, only a single victory followed (on the 14th matchday against Pegaso Real de Colima ), so that the Guerreros only took the penultimate place in their group at the end of the Apertura 2006 . Last place went to the Toluca farm team Atlético Mexiquense , against which the Guerreros had their biggest defeat (1: 4) on matchday ten. They had their biggest win on the first day of play against the UAT Correcaminos (4-0).

Known players
