Guido Heinen

Guido Heinen (born April 4, 1966 in Koblenz ) is a German parliament official. Since 2011 he has been Head of the Scientific Services Division of the German Bundestag as Ministerial Director .

Life

Heinen studied Catholic theology , philosophy and law at the University of Würzburg and the University of Friborg (Switzerland) and was after a successful diploma finally in 1994 to Dr. theol. PhD . After journalistic training and internship he worked as editor in program management and since 1997 as head of domestic policy at the Deutsche Welle . In 1999 he became deputy head of the domestic affairs department of the daily newspaper Die Welt and worked as a political correspondent on issues such as party financing , organized crime and the secret services . In 2006 he took over the management of the press and communication department of the German Bundestag . He was also the spokesman for Norbert Lammert, President of the Bundestag . Since 2011 he has been Head of the Scientific Services of the German Bundestag.
