Life

Mosing was the son of Anton Leopold Mosing (* 1772), who came from Eisenstadt (then in Hungary) and was court attorney there. AL Mosing was of Jewish faith, but was baptized a Roman Catholic in 1799. He later went to Vienna, first living in Vienna at Tiefen Graben 30. AL Mosing married Franziska Koch on January 16, 1815 in the Schotten parish. Guido Konrad Mosing grew up in Vienna and received his education at the Schottengymnasium . He studied law in Vienna and obtained the Dr. jur. During his studies he showed a keen interest in politics and had closer contacts with the politicians Johann Nepomuk Berger and Karl von Giskra (1820–1879).

Guido Mosing entered the service of the court chamber procurator. In 1848 he was a charged member of the Academic Legion . At the time of the German Revolution in 1848, this academic legion was a student freikorp, which met especially in Vienna from students from the university and the Polytechnic Institute, and which the Viennese artists later joined.

At the age of 25, Mosing was first elected as "Deputy Deputy" for the Frankfurt National Assembly (from 1848/49) in the Paulskirche in Frankfurt . There he was deputy of the Austrian MP August Prinzinger . After his departure he was elected as the youngest member of the Frankfurt parliament at the age of 27, to which he belonged from April 4 to the end of April 30, 1849. He represented the 17th constituency “Austria under the Enns” in St. Pölten and politically belonged to the left-wing democratic center, the Nürnberger Hof parliamentary group . Here he still experienced the stormy performances that led to the relocation of the National Assembly to Stuttgart at the end of May.

When he later entered the Austrian civil service, he became a consultant at the Court Chamber Procuratorate in Vienna. But in 1859 he went into early retirement.
