Guido Kutscher (* 1970 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a German rower and former German master .

Guido Kutscher started rowing in 1981 at the age of eleven. His first club was the BSG Motor Plaue in his hometown Brandenburg an der Havel. In 1986 he was GDR champion in eighth place in the 15/16 age group and moved to ASK Vorwärts Rostock . After returning to BSG Motor Plaue, Kutscher became GDR champion in the youth division in 1988 in a four-man without a helmsman and in a four-man with a helmsman and won the bronze medal in eighth. In the meantime, Guido Kutscher moved to BSG Rotation Berlin .

After the reunification and peaceful revolution in the GDR , Guido Kutscher went to Herdecke and joined the RC Westfalen Herdecke . Due to his ongoing connections to his hometown Brandenburg, he built a permanent training and competition partnership with Lars Beilfuß from the Rowing Club Havel Brandenburg . Both formed a racing community from the late 1990s to the early 2000s . In 1998 they won the silver medal in two with helmsman at the German championship with the helmsman Grit Paschedag and in 1999 the German championship. In the same year Kutscher and Beilfuß went bronze at the Rowing World Cup on the Rotsee near Lucerne .

In 2000 Guido Kutscher suffered a serious knee injury while skiing . Nevertheless, he and Lars Beilfuß defended the title of German champions this year. Udo Kühn was the helmsman . As a result, ended coachman because of the knee injury but his competitive sports career and in 2001 began a coaching activity at RC Westfalen Herdecke. He is also the state trainer of the state rowing association in Berlin.
