Guido Trenti
Guido Trenti (born December 27, 1972 in Milan ) is a former American cyclist .
Trenti started his career at Ideal in 1996 . In 1998 he came to Cantina Tollo . There he celebrated his first professional victory. In 2000, he won the ninth stage of the Tour de Langkawi . In the same year he finished second on a Giro stage. In 2003 he moved to Fassa Bortolo , where he drove for two years before joining the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step . He competed in the Tour de France for the first time in 2005 and finished it in 139th overall. He finished the 5th stage of the Tour of Austria in 2006 in third place. From 2007 to 2008 he drove for Liquigas , after which he ended his sports career.
However, he should not be confused with the Italian professional cyclist Guido Trentin .
