Guillaume Feugueray (also: Feugueré, Feuguières, Fengerays, Fugeraeus, Figuraeus, Fengret, Fengereau, Phangret ; * around 1535 in Rouen ; † 1613 in Dieppe or Rouen) was a French Protestant theologian.

Life

Little is known about the life of Feugueray. He worked at the Church of Pavilly in 1565 and received his doctorate in theology from the University of Paris on July 23 of that year. He was then pastor in Longueville, from where he fled as a Huguenot to London after Bartholomew's Night and later to Villiers. From there he seems to have returned to his native city. On July 17, 1575 he was appointed first professor of theology at the University of Leiden , in which capacity he was the rector of the Alma Mater in 1576/77 . In May 1579 he gave up his professorship in Leiden to return to his parish in Rouen and in 1590 he followed a call to Dieppe.
