Guillermo Dela Vega Afable (born April 3, 1951 in Davao City , Philippines ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Bishop of Digos .

Life

Guillermo Dela Vega Afable received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Davao on April 24, 1976 .

On 21 April 2001. appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Vadesi and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Davao. The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Antonio Franco , donated him episcopal ordination on July 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Davao, Fernando Capalla , and the Bishop of Digos, Generoso Camiña PME . Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Digos on April 24, 2002 . On February 11, 2003, Guillermo Dela Vega Afable became Bishop of Digos, succeeding Generoso Camiña PME, who resigned due to illness.
