Guillermo Flores
Guillermo Flores (* in El Salto , Jalisco ) is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .
career
Flores first played in the 1945/46 season for León FC , where he was under contract until the 1949/50 season. In the seasons 1947/48 and 1948/49 Flores won with the Esmeraldas twice the Mexican football championship and the Supercup and once the cup competition . He also scored a total of 29 goals for the green-whites in these five years. His most successful season in this regard was the 1946/47 season , in which he scored twelve goals. In the calendar year 1947, Flores scored three goals in two games across all seasons: first on April 13th in a 7-2 win over city rivals San Sebastián and then again on September 21st in a 10-1 win over the reigning champions (!) Atlante .
In 1950, Flores moved to league rivals CD Tampico , for whom he scored three goals in the 1950/51 season.
