Guillermo Fratta , full name Guillermo Fratta Cabrera , (born September 19, 1995 in Rocha ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.88-meter-tall defensive player Fratta moved in 2011 from Palermo from the Liga Rochense de Fútbol to the U-16s of the Uruguayan professional club Defensor Sporting . With the U-19 of the club, trained by Ricardo Meroni , he was Uruguayan champion in the Cuarta Division in 2014. He has been a member of the first division team's professional squad since 2015 and was a substitute for a first division match on February 15, 2015. He made his debut in the Primera División under coach Juan Tejera on February 14, 2016 in a 2: 3 away win against Danubio FC with a starting eleven. He already achieved the 1-0 lead of his team in the 4th minute of the game. In the 2015/16 season, he played 13 first division matches (one goal) and three games (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In early July 2016 he was loaned to the first division promoted Boston River , for whom he played 14 times (three goals) in the top Uruguayan division in the 2016 season.

National team

Fratta has been part of Uruguay's U-20 team under coach Fabián Coito since 2015 at the latest . There he was substituted on for Jaime Báez on March 29, 2015 in the 0-1 defeat against Uzbekistan in the 45th minute of the game . Also two days later he came on in the 3-0 away defeat in the international friendly against Portugal as a substitute in the 46th minute for Agustín Ale . He was considered in a preselection made by Fabián Coito's coaching staff for the players who might be nominated for the Uruguayan U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . However, he is missing from the preliminary roster announced on May 19, 2015.
