Rubber fetishism
Rubber fetishism is a variant of sexual fetishism in which latex clothing and other rubber objects are used as fetishes. Around rubber fetishism, a market for fashion and accessories made of rubber has developed (fashion shows, catalogs, specialty shops, magazines, etc.). The material is worn on bare skin; this creates a feeling of a second skin and of being "locked in".
Associations
Wearing latex clothing has various charms :
- haptic : latex clothing lies close to the skin and adapts to the shape of the body.
- visual : the body shape is emphasized by tight-fitting latex. With polished latex, there are also light reflections that emphasize the shape. Visual stimuli appear particularly when latex clothing is not worn by others but by others (also: pictures, videos).
- olfactory : The smell of rubber clothing.
- auditory : The noises when putting on and taking off and moving (squeaking etc.) and also the noise of zippers .
- sexual : Wearing latex clothing is perceived as sexually stimulating.
More types
Objects made of rubber such as rubber blankets, rubber balloons, tire tubes made of rubber, gas masks , gas mask hoods , rubber hot water bottles, latex bed linen and specially made latex items (for example butt plugs , dildos , rubber gags) can represent the fetish object. Like almost every fetish, rubber fetishism can be combined with other fetishes or sexual practices , for example with a shoe fetish , bondage or an erotic role play .
Heavy rubber
One expression of rubber fetishism is heavy rubber . Here the body is completely covered with latex ( full, total or complete inclusion ) . This is done by wearing full rubber suits, latex gloves, latex booties, rubber boots , etc. and using gas masks or other specially made heavy rubber masks. Breathing tubes and drinking tubes are often connected to the masks (tubing) . The breathing hoses can be connected to smell bags or breathing bags . There are now special masks in which video glasses and headphones are built; video cameras and communication systems can be connected to these . In order to be able to carry the equipment for a longer period of time, there are accessories to conveniently drain urine through hoses and to collect it in special latex bags. Wearing several layers on top of each other is also popular. Limits arise from increasing immobility and the increasing total weight of the equipment.
In the case of a very high degree of heavy rubber , the connection to the outside world only runs via hoses (full tubing ) and electrical cables. The cables connect with a connected communication system or with the corresponding auxiliary technology (e.g. introduced dildos and butt plugs with vibrators ; see also machine sex ). Vacuum beds and sauna bags made of latex are also popular. Depending on your preference, the border to voluntary sensory deprivation is fluid.
A (living) rubber doll is someone who by being completely enclosed in latex clothing and masks looks like a rubber doll and wants to be seen that way.
safety
Depending on the outside temperature, the wearer can sweat more or less heavily under latex clothing, which can be dangerous because the body's own cooling system no longer works properly. The use of masks or the like is also very dangerous if the oxygen supply is no longer guaranteed. The more extensive and heavier the equipment, the more caution is necessary overall.

Regular publications on rubber fetishism have appeared in the last few decades. Some fetish magazines were or are "O" , Marquis , Skin Two and Heavy Rubber . The manufacturer Rubbers Finest produces videos on the topic in its own channel.
Numerous models from the erotic industry also appear as fetish models .
