Gundula Rossbach

Gundula Roßbach (* 1964 in Siegen ) is a German administrative lawyer and has been President of the German Pension Insurance Association since January 1, 2017 .

Career

From 1986 to 1988 she worked as an administrative inspector. After studying law in Bonn from 1988 to 1993 and doing legal clerkship in Koblenz, Gundula Roßbach worked as a social officer at the Brandenburg District Association from 1996 . In 1997 she moved to the German Federal Pension Insurance Fund, from 2003 she worked there as a consultant in the policy department, personal assistant to the president, deputy head of the central allowance office for retirement assets and, most recently, head of the audit service. In mid-2006 she switched to the German Pension Insurance Berlin-Brandenburg ; Here she was Deputy Managing Director until May 18, 2009, and Managing Director and First Director from May 19, 2009; she held this position until March 31, 2014.

The Federal Assembly of Representatives of the German Pension Insurance Association elected Gundula Roßbach on June 27, 2013 in Düsseldorf as a future member of the Board of Directors of the German Pension Insurance Association. On April 1, 2014, Gundula Roßbach took up her position as a member of the board of directors of the German Pension Insurance Association. The Federal Assembly of Representatives elected Gundula Roßbach at its meeting on June 23, 2016 in Bremen as the future President of the German Pension Insurance Association; She took over the office on January 1, 2017 from Axel Reimann , who retired for reasons of age

Since June 6, 2018, as President of the German Pension Insurance Federation, she has also been a member of the “Reliable Generational Contract” pension commission set up by the federal government.
