The German Pension Insurance Berlin-Brandenburg is a regional carrier of the German Pension Insurance for the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg. The head office is in Frankfurt (Oder) , the location is in Berlin .

With almost 2,000 employees and civil servants, the German Pension Insurance Berlin-Brandenburg looks after around 800,000 pensioners and 1.9 million insured persons. In addition to the two houses in Frankfurt (Oder) and Berlin, the insured have 21 information and advice centers in Berlin and Brandenburg.

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Berlin-Brandenburg is the liaison office for Poland within the framework of supranational law of the European Community and the German-Polish social security agreement of October 9, 1975. It is responsible for people who have both German and Polish insurance periods as well as for people with German or Polish insurance periods Insurance periods that live in the other country.

The German Pension Insurance Berlin-Brandenburg operates two rehabilitation clinics: The Hohenelse Clinic on Rheinsberger See and the Lautergrund Rehabilitation Clinic in Bad Staffelstein . In addition to orthopedic diseases, the Hohenelse Clinic also treats type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus as well as cardiovascular diseases. The Lautergrund Clinic specializes in the consequences of accidents, injuries and chronic pain disorders.
