The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bayern Süd (DRV Bayern Süd) is a corporation under public law that came into being on January 1, 2007 and is one of the regional providers of the German pension insurance . It emerged from the merger of the Landesversicherungsanstalten (LVA) Niederbayern-Oberpfalz from Landshut and Oberbayern from Munich .
DRV Bayern Süd is also the liaison office for pension matters with the countries of Bosnia-Herzegovina , Kosovo , Croatia , Macedonia , Montenegro , Austria , Serbia , Slovenia , Slovakia and the Czech Republic .
The chairman of the management is Elisabeth Häusler, and Gerhard Witthöft is a member of the management.
Following an inpatient or full-day outpatient service for medical rehabilitation, rehabilitation aftercare may be considered. This is intended to consolidate the rehabilitation success that has occurred. The institutions of the German Pension Insurance have special aftercare programs for this purpose, e.g. B. the intensified rehabilitation aftercare (IRENA). The rehabilitation candidates should be able to transfer what they have learned in rehabilitation into everyday life, stabilize and develop them further through aftercare. The treating physicians at the rehabilitation facility also prescribe post-rehabilitation care. DRV Bayern Süd is the first statutory pension insurance company to offer teletherapy in 2013 as an extension of the aftercare offer for the insured , following a full-day rehabilitation measure in the form of telerehabilitation . Teletherapy is an alternative aftercare offer to the existing aftercare offers of the German Pension Insurance.
The DRV Bayern Süd is responsible for pensions and rehabilitation with around 3000 employees. It operates its own clinics at seven locations:
- Orthopedic Center Bad Füssing ,
- Specialist Clinic Gaißach ,
- Clinic Höhenried gGmbH ,
- Clinic Passau- Kohlbruck,
- Bad Reichenhall Clinic ,
- Orthopedic Clinic Tegernsee and
- Clinic Donaustauf .
