The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Braunschweig-Hannover is the regional carrier of the German pension insurance in Lower Saxony . It is the successor to the Landesversicherungsanstalt (LVA) Braunschweig-Hannover, which emerged on September 30, 2005 from the merger of the LVAs Braunschweig and Hannover. The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Braunschweig-Hannover is the liaison point for all regional carriers of the German pension insurance to the pension insurance companies in Japan , the Philippines and the Republic of Korea .
With 2,500 employees, Deutsche Rentenversicherung Braunschweig-Hannover looks after around one million pensioners and two million insured persons.

Bad Pyrmont Rehabilitation Center
In Bad Pyrmont , the Brunswiek Therapy Center, a former facility of the LVA Braunschweig, and the Friedrichshöhe Therapy Center, a former health clinic of the LVA Hannover, together with the Weser Clinic, which is part of the German Pension Insurance Association, form the Bad Pyrmont Rehabilitation Center. Treatment focuses here on orthopedic, rheumatic and psychosomatic diseases.
Rehabilitation center Upper Harz
In Clausthal-Zellerfeld , the rehabilitation center in Oberharz am Schwarzenbacher Teich, which opened in August 2011, is used to rehabilitate after cancer and psychosomatic illnesses. The Erbprinzentanne and Am Hasenbach houses, which were operated until the summer of 2011, were closed.
Teutoburg Forest Clinic
