Gunnarskog or Stommen is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County . In 2015 the place had 275 inhabitants. Gunnarskog is the main town of a church community ( Församling ) and has given its name to a district since January 1, 2016 . By 1971 Gunnarskog also formed its own rural community ( Landskommun ); since then it has belonged to the municipality of Arvika .

In Gunnarskog there is a church, a local museum and a primary school. Economically, the place lives from agriculture (pig and milk production) and tourism. Mining was also used in the past.
