Gunter Wild

Gunter Wild (born June 22, 1958 in Lengenfeld ) is a German politician ( The Blue Party , previously AfD ). From 2014 to September 2019 he was a member of the State Parliament of Saxony . On October 13, 2017, about three weeks after the 2017 federal election , he resigned from the AfD parliamentary group.

Life

From 1975 to 1977 Wild trained as a machine and system fitter. From 1977 to 1979 he did his basic military service in the NVA . From 1990 to 2003 Wild was the owner of the "Wild's Wurstland" grocery store. From 2001 to 2003 Wild completed an apprenticeship as an insurance specialist BWV (Vocational Training Center of the German Insurance Industry) and has been working in this profession ever since.

Wild was chairman of the AfD district association Vogtland from 2013 to 2014 . In 2014 he moved into the Saxon state parliament via the state list of the AfD Saxony .

Wild's exit from the parliamentary group in October 2017 was the fifth out of a group of initially fourteen members; Frauke Petry , Kirsten Muster , Uwe Wurlitzer and Andrea Kersten had left before him . At the same time he also resigned from the party. He has been with The Blue Party since February 2018.

A renewed entry into the state parliament after the state elections in Saxony in 2019 on September 1, 2019 did not succeed.

Positions

Wild's election campaign slogan was “ Small sewage treatment plants as compulsory municipal tasks!”.
