Guo Hanyu ( Chinese  郭 涵 煜 , Pinyin Guō Hányù , pronunciation: [kwó xǎn ŷ]; born May 18, 1998 in Zhengzhou ) is a Chinese tennis player .

Career

Guo started playing tennis at the age of eight and prefers hard courts. She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has already won two singles and four doubles.

At the Australian Open 2016 , she competed in the junior doubles with her partner Nina Kruijer , but the duo lost in the first round. She met the same fate in the junior singles .

The first main draw of a WTA tournament in singles reached Guo 2017 at the Tianjin Open 2017 , which she achieved with two wins over Dalila Jakupović and Nina Stojanović in the qualification .

At the Summer Universiade 2019 , she and her partner Ye Qiuyu won the women's doubles title and was a member of the winning team in the team competition.
