The Gurling Glacier is a glacier on the Wilkins Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows from Krebs Ridge and Leininger Peak into the southwestern part of Smith Inlet .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1976 after Peter William Gurling (* 1946), who worked as a geodesist for the British Antarctic Survey between 1972 and 1973 in the vicinity of this glacier.
