Krebs Ridge is a mountain ridge with east-west orientation on the Wilkins Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the north face of the Gurling Glacier and ends at the southwest head end of Smith Inlet .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after the biologist William N. Krebs, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program in 1972 at the Palmer station .
