Gustaf Adolf Boltenstern senior (born April 1, 1861 in Helsingborg , † October 9, 1935 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish dressage rider and officer . He was the father of two-time Olympic champion Gustaf Adolf Boltenstern junior .
Boltenstern won the silver medal in dressage at the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm with his horse Neptun behind Carl Bonde and in front of Hans von Blixen-Finecke . Eight years later he took part in Antwerp with the horse Iron , but was disqualified.
