Gustaf Adolf Boltenstern junior (born May 15, 1904 in Stockholm , † March 31, 1995 in Mariefred ) was a Swedish dressage rider and officer . The son of Gustaf Adolf Boltenstern senior took part in four Olympic Games and each won a medal.
At the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , Boltenstern was part of the Swedish dressage team for the first time. With the horse Ingo he won team silver, while he reached fifth place in the individual ranking. After he had not taken part in 1936, he was in 1948 in London to trump third in the individual competition. The Swedish team had also finished the competition victorious, but was then disqualified.
1952 in Helsinki Boltenstern on Krest was the first time Olympic champion with the team after he had finished the individual competition in fifth place. In 1956 , the equestrian competitions were not held in Melbourne , but in Stockholm due to strict quarantine regulations . With the same horse as four years earlier, Boltenstern was able to win the team gold medal again, in the individual ranking he finished seventh.
