Ivan Michailowitsch Kisimow

Ivan Michailowitsch Kisimow ( Russian Иван Михайлович Кизимов ; born May 28, 1928 in Novocherkassk ; † September 22, 2019 ) was a Russian dressage rider who competed for the Soviet Union .

At the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo he was able to achieve his first major success when he won the bronze medal with the dressage team of the Soviet Union. Four years later at the Games in Mexico City , he won the gold medal in dressage on Igor and the silver medal with the team. In 1972 he became Olympic champion again with the team in Munich .
