The Col de Jougne is a mountain crossing over the French Jura on the French national road N 57 (European route E 23), which is the connection Besançon / Dijon - Pontarlier - Lausanne . The pass height is 1008 meters. In the course of the pass, the European main watershed between the catchment area of the Rhine and Rhone will be crossed.
There is a roundabout directly at the top of the pass , from here the road in the direction of Pontarlier is four-lane for several kilometers (bypassing the village of Les Hôpitaux-Neufs ). South of the pass, the road descends through the town of Jougne and the Swiss state border to Vallorbe .
