Les Hôpitaux-Neufs at the foot of the Morond

Les Hôpitaux-Neufs is a French commune with 921 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region .

While the community used to be mainly agricultural, it is mainly important today in tourism, primarily through winter sports in the nearby Métabief ski area . Numerous private holiday homes were built.

In the 2000s, the RN 57 from Vallorbe to Pontarlier , which previously ran through the village, was expanded to four lanes; it now runs north past the village.

The Coni'Fer museum train , which only runs in the summer months, is worth seeing .
