Karl Gustaf Jonsson (born July 7, 1903 in Lycksele ; † July 30, 1990 in Bromma ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Jonsson, who started for the Lycksele IF and the Husums IF , became Swedish champion over 30 km in 1925 and finished sixth over 50 km and fourth over 30 km at the World Championships in Lahti in 1926 . At the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he won the silver medal in the 50 km race. The following year he achieved fifth place at the world championships in Zakopane over 18 km and over 50 km. At the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , he was ninth over 50 km. At the Wasalauf he finished eighth in 1926 and second in 1930.
