A first church building was mentioned in 1568 and designated as derelict in 1707. The Art Nouveau building was built from 1905 to 1907 according to plans by Friedrich Pützer . The hall building rises above a cross-shaped floor plan , the tower is inserted asymmetrically. The altar stands free, the pulpit is in front of the rear wall of the altar and the organ gallery is built above it. The organ was built in 1907 by the Link Brothers organ building company. The building is fenced and accessed through an entrance gate. In 1962, the original spatial impression was destroyed as part of a purification. During renovation work on the outer building from 1995 to 1996 and the restoration of the interior from 1999 to 2001, the original wood-sightedness of the furnishings was restored with colored ornaments in the Art Nouveau style.
