Gustav Biesemeier

Gustav Biesemeier (born November 19, 1887 in Bösingfeld , † March 13, 1955 in Lemgo ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( DDP ) and member of the Lippe regional council.

Life

Biesemeier, the Protestant denomination was working from 1901 as Ziegler . In 1912 he became the managing director of the Ziegler trade union in Lippe (based in Lage ) and in 1919 the first chairman of the trade union.

After the November Revolution, Biesemeier, who represented left-wing liberal positions, was managing director and one of the 20 members of the People's and Soldiers' Council and Workers' and Soldiers' Council for Lippe from November 10, 1918 to February 9, 1919 . In the state elections in Lippe in 1919 , he ran for second place on the DDP's list and was elected to the Lippe state parliament. In the state elections in Lippe in 1921 , he ran as a top candidate on his own list of the "Biesemeier-Held trade union list". The list received 4514 votes, which made up 5.73% and a state parliament seat for Biesemeier. In the state elections in Lippe in 1925 , he was elected to the "Biesemeier List". On October 1, 1925, he resigned his parliamentary mandate and became a member of the Lippe regional council. Konrad Potthast , who dissolved the one-man parliamentary group and joined the SPD , succeeded in the state parliament . Biesemeier remained a member of the State Presidium until March 9, 1926.
