Gustav Brauer

Gustav Brauer (born March 27, 1830 in Forst ; † January 1, 1917 there ) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Brauer was a city councilor and entrepreneur in Forst. He was also deputy chairman of the Brandenburg Province Chamber of Commerce and board member of the North German Textile Trade Association, deputy chairman of the Central Association of German Woolen Manufacturers and Chairman of the Association of Manufacturers in Forst.

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Frankfurt 8 ( Sorau , Forst ) and the German Reich Party . Between 1894 and 1901 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the same constituency.
