Gustav Frenz

Gustav Frenz (born February 21, 1884 in Mülheim an der Ruhr , † June 14, 1960 ) was a German industrial manager.

Career

Frenz was born as the son of the Reich official Karl Frenz. He initially worked at the Thyssen machine factory in Mülheim. Later he was operations director and finally general director of the Schiess machine tool factory in Düsseldorf.

He published numerous papers on questions of productivity and rationalization .

His book Successful Business Management (Elsner Verlagsgesellschaft, Berlin 1938), written with Emil Gobbers, was placed on the list of literature to be segregated in the Soviet occupation zone after the end of the Second World War .
