Gustav Raab
Gustav Raab (born August 23, 1938 in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg , Lower Austria , † May 25, 2006 in Vienna ) was an Austrian bank manager .
Raab studied at the University of World Trade and the Technical University in Vienna . From 1965 he worked for the Main Association of Austrian Savings Banks , from 1993 to 1997 he was its general secretary. From 1976 he was managing director of the Austrian Research Institute for Savings Banks and from 1988 to 1997 board member of Sparkassenhaftungs AG. Raab was also an honorary professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
