Gustav Rothbarth

Gustav Rothbarth (born July 21, 1842 in Trent , † November 20, 1914 in Gifhorn ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Rothbarth attended private schools and was an official of larger estates and then landowner in Triangle . He was chairman of the moor and heather culture association, head of the Triangel peat works and a member of the district council. A memorial stone in the park of Triangle commemorates him.

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 14 ( Gifhorn , Celle , Peine , Burgdorf ) and the National Liberal Party . In the Reichstag, however, he only joined the national liberal faction as an intern.
