Gustav von Diepenbroick-Grüter

Gustav Wilhelm Adam Freiherr von Diepenbroick-Grüter (born October 9, 1815 in Haus Marck ; † March 14, 1899 in Berlin ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

origin

He comes from the second marriage of his father, the baron Johann Adolf Gustav von Grüter († February 20, 1822). The district administrator Ludwig von Diepenbroick-Grüter (1804-1870) was his brother.

Life

Gustav von Diepenbroick-Grüter studied 1834-1837 jurisprudence among others at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn . In 1837 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . In 1837 he became an auscultator and in 1839 trainee lawyer at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . From there in 1844 he went to the Duisburg Regional and City Court as an assessor . In 1850 he was seconded to the court of appeal as a district judge in Hamm . In 1856 he became appellate judge in Greifswald and in 1860 appellate judge in Berlin . In 1868 he was appointed senior tribunal councilor. In 1873 he became a member of the Court of Justice for Church Affairs.

Diepenbroick-Grüter sat in the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Münster 1 in 1862 and belonged to the right-wing parliamentary group.
