Gustave Jean Armand Buchard (born February 17, 1890 in Le Havre , † February 18, 1977 in Barentin ) was a French sword fencer .

Life

Gustave Buchard took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . In the individual, he reached the final , in which he won the bronze medal with six wins behind Armand Massard and Alexandre Lippmann . In the team competition, the French team entered the final round unbeaten, which they completed with a bronze medal.

His brother Georges Buchard was also an Olympic sword fencer.
